A concept of a favourite view of mine on the West Fraser Road about halfway between Quesnel and Williams Lake, BC, looking south, near the old Marguerite Ferry. The background hills are the beginnings of Fraser River canyon country. The hump in the middle is an ancient island in the Fraser, which evidently flowed north thousands of years ago. The Lee family in the Cariboo goes back to the late 1800s. The land was purchased through white friends of that family, as the Chinese then were not allowed by the government to own land. More fun with colour--some electric combinations, to my eyes.
