This painting, of a park near Quesnel, BC, is a view of the park as seen from the southwest side of the lake. The painting is a concept of that view, which is an unusual forest consisting almost entirely of aspen. It’s incredibly vibrant in the fall, and has rich greens in the spring and summer. Trying to vibrate you a bit with that teal blue sky against the yellow trees, and the deep dark forest demands exploration.
