An exploration of photo-realism. The eyes especially were an exciting surprise when this came together. To me, there’s a stillness about the cat’s gaze. This image is adapted from an old image I saw years ago, but have since lost track of. This is also an example of how a painting can look so much richer than a photo (for me, at least).
