This lovely creek, which contains the crashing cascade shown here, runs into British Columbia's Fraser River at about the latitude of Clinton, BC. I’ve visited this area by riverboat several times, and it’s a magical place. Met a cowboy herding cattle with his border collie not far from here, up above on the yellow grassy Chilcotin plateau. Wasn’t hard to imagine a lonely old cabin up there. For thousands of years before cowboys showed up, indigenous peoples lived in the region, and there are signs of that habitation all along the Fraser. Lots of strange shapes in the rocks and water here.
